1. On Windows 2000, start the Hyper Terminal program. Assign the name for a
new session on the displayed window.

2. Choose the correct COM Port and baud rate settings (9600bps, 8 bit, no
parity bit, 1 stop bit).

3. On the terminal screen, type “AT” to check the “OK” response from the
Modem.
