4. Preparing for use
Filling and bleeding the hydraulic system
1. Before filling the hydraulic system, the arms need to be in the lowest possible position.
2. Fill the oil tank with approximately 8-8,5L of hydraulic oil, use only Falco CH46V hydraulic oil.
Check the oil level during filling, the level should be between the lower stripe (MIN) and
upper stripe (MAX) on the oil dipstick/filler cap.
3. Now connect the lift to the power supply.
4. Now press the LIFT-button on the control-unit (refer to chapter 5, Operation), bleeding the
hydraulic system goes automatic. Lift to the maximum height, then lower till the lowest
position.
5. After bleeding top up the oil level in the tank to the MAX-sign, the lift has tob e in the lowest
position fort his action.
Testing the lift
Check before use
1. Check if all connections of nuts and bolts are tightened firmly.
2. Check if all buttons work smoothly, when a button is released it should return immediately.
3. Check if all hydraulic are firmly tightened and properly sealed.
4. Check the hydraulic system for leakages.
5. Check if the power source is adequate, and that the ground wire is reliable.
Testing without load
1. The generator should turn in a direction consistent with that of the gear pump.
2. Check if all safety locks function by pushing the LOCK-button (chapter 5, Operation).
3. Check that the two lifting bodies are moving synchronous.
4. Check the tension of the steel cables.
5. The core axle line in the hydraulic cylinders should be equal to the columns’ core axle line.
6. Check if the lifting bodies move up and down smoothly.
7. Check the hydraulic system for leakages.
8. Fully lift and lower the lift two times.
Testing with load
If everything is functioning correct without a load, the lift is ready tob e tested with load, place a
vehicle on the lift, refer to chapter 5 Operation.
1. Lift the vehicle smoothly to a height of approximately 1m.
2. Check all working parts of the lift and make adjustments if necessary.
3. If everything works well, raise the vehicle to the maximum height.
4. Fully raise and lower the lift two times.
