Use
Place the appliance with a minimum distance of 20 cm to adjacent wall, to avoid discolouration
on the wall. Never cover the appliance, especially air inlet and outlet sections. Keep at least
60 cm distance from the objects on the appliance. Place the appliance keeping at least 1
meter distance from devices such as computers, television sets and radio receivers. Also,
operate and keep the appliance away from the reach of children.
Operation of the Appliance
• Plug in the appliance. Press POWER (ON/OFF) button. The appliance starts operating.
When pressing POWER (ON/OFF) button again, the appliance will turn off.
Fan Speeds
• Fakir Vita air cleaner has 3 different fan speeds. Select one of them according to room
dimensions and indoor air quality. Every time FLOW button is pressed, LED indicator will
display active fan speed (HI-MED-LOW).
Timer
• Use TIMER button to adjust the timer.
• You can select one of 1 hour, 2 hours or 4 hours using TIMER button. LED indicator will
display valid timer adjustment.
ION-UV Function
• You can turn on or off UV light function using ION-UV button. LED indicator near ION-UV
button will turn on when this function is selected. To turn of this function press the button
again.
Cleaning and Maintenance of the Appliance
• Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning and performing maintenance.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should be performed every 2 or 3 months.
Removing Filters
• Removing front cover; press on the upper section of the front cover and pull towards yourself
to remove it.
• Pull towards yourself to remove plasma filter and pre-filer.
• Hold the handles with both hands and pull towards yourself to remove HEPA filter.
Cleaning of front cover
• Wash front cover under clean tap water. If front cover is heavy dirty, you can wash with
detergent and then rinse using clean water.
Cleaning of Pre-Filter
• Separate Pre-filter from plasma filter and wash using clean water. If it is heavy dirty, you can
wash with detergent and then rinse using clean water.
