Troubleshooting
Possible cause

Device does not work
Device is not plugged in, or
device is no switched on.
Socket carries no current.
Power cable is damaged
Connect the device plug to
a socket and switch the
device on.
Try to switch on the
upright vacuum cleaner
using a different wall
socket, after having made
sure that the socket is
current-carrying.
Let the cable be replaced
by the Fakir Customer
Service.
Appliance operates
abnormally loud.
Aspirated particulates block
the airway.
Remove the particles
Appliance does not
absorb any dirt.
Dust container is full
Filters are dirty.
Nozzles are clogged.
The selected suction power
level is not adequate for the
floor covering type.
The selected nozzle is not
adequate for the floor
covering type.
The changeover switch
Carpet/Hard floor is not in the
right position for the floor
covering.
Empty the dust container.
Either clean or replace the
respective filter.
Remove the obstruction.
Adjust the suction power
level to the floor covering
type.
Attach the proper nozzle.
Adjust the position of the
changeover switch in
accordance with the floor
covering to be cleaned..
