2.4 GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR THE FLOPPY DISK UNIT

In order to avoid problems with different floppy drive manufacturers, it is recommended
to format the floppy disks to their nominal memory capacity, thus NOT formatting high
density diskettes (1.44Mb) as low density (720Kb) and vice versa.
