Removing Covers –Installing HDD, Compact Flash or Memory 

If you are installing hardware option, you can remove the rear panel and bottom 
cover.

 

The following figure will guide you how to install 2.5" HDD inside the FX5201 

and how to install the FX5201 fixers. 

 

 

Note: Use caution when handling the hard disk to prevent damage to IDE 

connector as you insert hard disk.  

Be careful with the pin orientation when installing connectors and the cables.  A 

wrong connection can easily destroy your hard disk. CN7 is used to connect a 

2.5" HDD with included 44-pin flat-cable

.
