disconnect  the  hot 

plate, do not simply 

remove the  pot  or 

pan. Otherwise  a 

malfunction may 

occur  if  inadver-

tently another pot or 

pan  is  placed  on  it 

within the detection 

period. Prevent pos-

sible accidents!

 

If the supply cord 

is damaged, it must 

be  replaced  by  the 

manufacturer,  its 

service  agent  or 

similarly  qualified 

persons in order to 

avoid hazard.

Installation

Installation with cutlery drawer 

If  you  wish  to  install  furniture  or  a 

cutlery drawer under the hob, a sepa-

ration board must be fitted between 

the two. Accidental contact with the 

hot surface of the device’s housing is 

thus prevented.
