Installation of DB405
The encoder is a circuit board that together with a magnet replaces mechanical limit switches. The encoder transforms the
magnet’s position to a voltage which then EP104 converts to a number of degrees. In EP104, you set the limits for open
and closed positions in the L-channels. The encoder is working with drive units MK, MA, MK2, MA2 and MT. For more
information see Instruction Manual for Control Unit EP104.
• Connecting an encoder (electronic limit switch)
The encoder is connected to EP104 as shown below.
