Maintenance
Replacing the Cutter Blades
Strictly replace cutter blades after disengaging and removing the deck
assembly. Worn out, notched blades must be replaced immediately! Observe
proper blade position prior to removal and reinstall in the same position!
REMEMBER
Grinding won‘t do when blades are not balanced! In this case, rather make
sure that left and right hand blades are duly built-in with
every other blade with its cutting edge toward ground.
When installing new mower blades, assure rotation in due direction
all well as cutting blades cutting direction!
Left hand mower spindle = Left hand cutter blades
Right hand mower spindle = Right hand cutter blades
AVOID INJURY. When performing blades replacement, always use brand
new hardware! Be careful. wrong or improper assembly can result into
major damages!
To remove mower blades fi rst release locking nuts on blade washers (SW17).
IMPORTANT
Strictly use manufacturer‘s original spare blades only!
Servicing the Mower Blades
If the blade bevel exceeds the max width of 6 mm, then blades will need to be
replaced! Always replace worn out blades.
REMEMBER: resharpening won‘t help, if blades are unbalanced!
Adjusting the Mower Deck
Plastic guide bushings and mowing deck angle position may be altered due to
twisting and rotation of the front shaft (Fig. 1.9.2.5).
Factory mower deck settings (height) can be easily adjusted by means of a special
pull-rope system.
WARNINg
Do not attempt any self-adjustment of the mower drive belt! Adjusting mower belt
tension requires help of an authorised service center. DANGER! self-adjustments may
result into major damages!
Replacing Mower Belt Drive
All drive split belts on your mower must be strictly replaced by authorised service cen-
ters only, if needed. Self-replacement may turn into major machine damages and bodily
injuries!
