Maintenance
Changing a Flat Tire
STOP the mower on a hard, preferably flat surface (it is unsafe to jack up a vehicle on
an incline), STOP the engine and APPLY parking brakes.
Use blocks or wedges to block the other tires from rolling in either direction. Take a
suitable tires changer and locate a safe lift point along the frame of the mower. Position
the jack under it on the side of your flat tire. Keep lifting the mower till the flat tire is off
the ground while leaving room to mount the new one in.
IMPORTANT
Make sure that the ground surface is hard enough to avoid jack sinking down while
lifting and provide for a large stable jack base.

grease. Put shim, tire, shim and spindle locknut back in place using top care.

Before installing the new tire lubricate the axle spindle area using waterproof grease.
Carefully hammer the new wheel in place on the axle pivot using a soft plastic hammer.
Drop the capscrew in by hand and tighten it by means of a torque wrench (440 Nm ).
At last fit cover back into place.
