Platform Guide: VIPRION

Platform airflow information

When you install the VIPRION platform into a rack, it is important to
understand the unit’s airflow direction so that you can ensure proper
cooling.

Airflow for VIPRION platforms

The VIPRION platforms employ a negative pressure fan system, which
draws cold air in from the right and front sides of the chassis and exhausts
hot air out the left and back sides of the chassis.
