Turning the e-fin on and off

• 

The e-fin (1) switches on when it is 

completely immersed in water with the 

contact point (1a) and the contact point 

(1e) of the antenna (1d) is touched with 

the magnet (1f).

Note: 

the remote control (3) must be 

switched on within ten seconds of 

switching on the e-fin. Otherwise, the 

e-fin turns off.

• 

The e-fin switches off when it is taken 

out of the water. 

Light points antenna

If the contact point (1e) of the antenna 

(1d) is touched with the magnet (1f), the 

light points (1h) can indicate the follow-

ing:

Turning the remote control on 

and off

•  Press and hold the “Play” button (3d) 

for approx. three seconds to switch 

on the remote control (3). The LED 

display (3e) lights up.

Note: 

the product starts in battery sta-

tus mode after switching on.

•  Press and hold the “Play” button for 

approx. three seconds to switch off 

the remote control. 

Coupling the e-fin and the  

remote control

Note:

 the e-fin (1) is supplied already 

coupled. If the e-fin needs to be recou

-

pled, use one of the following methods:

Method 1

1. Touch the contact point (1e) with the 

magnet (1f). The light points (1h) light 

up red.

2. As soon as the light points light up 

green after approx. three seconds, 

press and hold the “Play” button (3d) 

on the remote control (3) for approx. 

three seconds.

3. Then all the points on the LED display 

(3e) of the remote control and the 

light points on the antenna (1d) light 

up green.

4. Finally, press the “Play” button and 

the remote control is connected.

Method 2

1. Touch the contact point (1e) three 

times within ten seconds with the 

magnet (1f). The e-fin (1) is then 

ready for coupling for 30 seconds.

2. After the light points (1h) light up 

blue, press the “+” (3b) and “Play” 

(3d) buttons on the remote control 

(3) simultaneously for approx. three 

seconds.

3. The LED display (3e) lights up green.

4. Then press the “Play” button and the 

remote control is connected.

Riding modes 

Manual mode

Note: 

in this mode, the product supports 

you even when you are not paddling.

After the remote control (3) is switched 

on, the product is in battery status 

mode. Press the “Play” button (3d) to 

switch to manual mode.

Press the “+” button (3b) to start the 

motor running. 

•  Press the “+” button again to increase 

the power of the motor. Press the “–” 

button (3c) to reduce the power of the 

motor.

Note: 

the power is shown in levels via 

the LED display (3e). 

Strongest level: 10 LEDs light up

Weakest level: 1 LED lights up

Automatic mode 

Note: 

in this mode, the product supports 

you with every paddle stroke.

•  Press and hold the “–” button (3c) for 

approx. three seconds to switch from 

manual mode to automatic mode.

Note: 

To switch between modes, the mo-

tor must be switched off. 

•  Press the “+” button (3b) to increase the 

power of the motor. Press the “–” but-

ton to reduce the power of the motor.

Battery status

•  The battery status is shown on the LED 

display (3e) on the remote control (3).

•  Once you have switched on the remote 

control, the upper LEDs indicate the 

battery status of the remote control 

and the lower LEDs indicate the battery 

status of the e-fin (1).

0 LEDs

< 10% battery

1 LED

< 30% battery

2 LEDs

< 50% battery

3 LEDs

< 70% battery

4 LEDs

< 90% battery

5 LEDs

> 90% battery

Charging the e-fin

Important: 

ensure that all parts are dry 

before charging.

Warning:

 never leave the e-fin (1) unat

-

tended when charging. Do not charge 

or use the product in a place where the 

temperature may exceed 45°C.

Follow the steps below to charge the 

e-fin:

1. Connect the device plug (2a) to the 

battery charger (2). 

2. Connect the contact plug (2c) to the 

contact point (1a) of the e-fin.

3. Connect the mains plug (2b) to the power 

supply.

4. 

Disconnect the e-fin from the pow

-

er supply when the battery is fully 

charged.

Charging the remote control

Important: 

ensure that all parts are dry 

before charging.

Warning:

 never leave the remote con-

trol (3) unattended while charging. Do 

not charge or use the product in a place 

where the temperature may exceed 45°C.

Follow the steps below to charge the 

remote control:
1. Connect the appropriate end of the USB 

charging cable (5) to the contact point 

(3a) on the remote control.

2. Plug the other end of the USB charging 

cable into a USB port on a powered-on 

laptop/notebook or charging station 

with a USB port.
