background image

e.g.:
Command

  GET(1;Input)

Response   DATA(1;Input;0)
Query the current input source for display 1. Current Input Source is Display

Port.

SAVE(ID;ALL

)

ID = Display address

Command

  SAVE(1;ALL)

Response   ACK(1)

Values are automatically saved after change. Due to different internal

processor design, this separate SAVE command is obsolete. For compatibility,

it’s still implemented and ACK(ID) will be returned always.

Broadcast

Sending commands using ID=0 is a broadcast to all connected devices. Use

carefully to avoid unintended overwriting of existing values. Flow control

needs to be implemented by control system, using ACK reply estimation.

e.g.:
Command

  GET(0;Input)

Response   DATA(1;Input;0)DATA(2;Input;1)….

Command

  SET(0;Input;0)

Response   ACK(1)ACK(2)ACK(3)

Remarks

For the Power-Command the behaviour of the broadcast command differs

from the Power-Command for individual devices. A SET(0;Power;0) will set all

devices to deep-sleep mode. In this mode communication with individual

devices is not possible, especially the Power-Command sent to and individual

ID behind the master device will not work. Please use SET(0;Power;1) to power

on the entire wall again.
