Intended Use
The EyeOn Air is a speech generation device intended to provide an individual who has a severe speech impairment with
the ability to meet their functional speaking needs. The primary purpose of the EyeOn Air device is to provide
synthesized speech through use of speech generating hardware and software. This device is generally not useful to an
individual in the absence of an illness or injury.
Methods of Use
The EyeOn Air device is intended for use in the home by individuals who have a severe speech impairment. The EyeOn
Air device can be used on a flat table or desktop surface by utilizing the integrated kickstand. In addition, the EyeOn Air
device can also be mounted to various wheelchair mounts using the VESA mounting pattern located on the back of the
device.
Prohibited Use
This device should not be used for clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic purposes.
Service Life
The expected service life of the EyeOn Air device is five (5) years. The EyeOn Air device is intended for daily, repeated
use.
