Battery Replacement
When the low battery icon '
' appears on the LCD, the meter's batteries must be changed.
1. Remove power and disconnect the test leads from the meter.
2. Remove the tilt stand from the rear of the meter.
3. Remove the 4 battery compartment screws with a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Remove the battery compartment cover and replace the six 1.5V 'AA' batteries.
5. Affix compartment cover and tighten screw.
6. Reattach the tilt stand.
You, as the end user, are legally bound (
Battery ordinance
) to return all
used batteries and accumulators;
disposal in the household garbage is
prohibited!
You can hand over your used batteries / accumulators at collection points
in your community or wherever batteries / accumulators are sold!
Disposal:
Follow the valid legal stipulations in respect of the disposal of the device at the
end of its lifecycle
Cleaning and Storage
Periodically wipe the meter's case with a damp cloth and mild detergent; do not use abrasives or
solvents. If the meter is not to be used for a period longer than 60 days, remove the batteries and
store them separately.
