Operating the appliance
To operate the appliance, proceed as
follows:
1.
Open the cover.
2.
Fill cold water into the water tank
according to the desired number of
cups. Never fill the water tank
above the "MAX" mark.
3.
Make sure that the filter holder is
inserted.
4.
Bend the bottom fold of the paper
filter (size 1x4).
5.
Press down the paper filter a little
with your hand. It must not
protrude over the edge.
6.
Insert the filter into the filter
holder.
7.
Fill the filter with the desired
amount of coffee powder.
8.
Fold down the cover.
9.
Place the glass jug on the plate.
10.
Switch on the appliance.
The control light in the switch
lights up.
The brewing process takes about 8-12
minutes.
Automatic switch-off
After switching on, an automatic switch-off
function ensures that the appliance does
not overheat.
The appliance switches off after 40
minutes. Premature shutdown is possible
by pressing the on/off switch.

Cleaning and maintenance
For hygienic reasons, clean the outside
and inside of the appliance, including
accessories and interior fittings,
regularly. Before carrying out any
maintenance and servicing work,
disconnect the appliance from the mains
power supply.
APPLIANCE DAMAGE!
Improper use of the appliance can result
in damage.

Switch off the appliance and
remove the plug from the plug
socket before cleaning.
•
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
•
The appliance is not dishwasher
safe.
•
Never immerse the appliance in
water.
•
Never clean the appliance with a
steam cleaner. Moisture could get
into electrical components.
•
Do not use abrasive or aggressive
cleaning agents.
•
Do not use abrasive sponges.
•
Essential oils and organic solvents,
e.g. the juice of lemon or orange
peel, butyric acid or cleaning
agents containing acetic acid can
attack plastic parts. Do not allow
such substances to come into
contact with parts of the
appliance.
SHORT CIRCUIT!
Water in the housing can cause a short
circuit.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
