Connecting to a PC
An MP player can be connected and disconnected without
switching * off the computer. It is automatically assigned a drive
letter by the computer. The MP player does not need to be
switched on before transferring files.
The following installation instructions apply for Windows XP that
has service pack 2 installed.
Installation/connection when using Windows XP
1. No additional device drivers are necessary for Windows XP
(device drivers for WIN98SE can be found on the CD provided).
. Connect the USB cable to a free USB port on the computer and
then to the USB port of the MP player.
. The computer automatically detects the MP player as a
”Moveable disc” and is displayed with its own drive letter in ”My
computer”.
Disconnect the player
1. Double click on the icon ”Safely remove hardware” in the
status field.
