7. Activating AUX mode (external audio source)
1. Press [ MODE ] (5) repeatedly until “Auxiliary Input” appears on the display.
2. Connect an external audio source to AUX IN (14) using a suitable cable with
a 3.5 mm stereo plug.
3. Playback is controlled from the external audio source. Adjust the volume on both
the external audio device and the radio to achieve the best sound quality.
8. Alarm
8.1 Setting the alarm
Note:
Check that the time and date settings on radio are correct before setting
the alarm.
1. Press [ MENU ] (6), “Alarm” appears on the display. Press the multifunction knob in
to confirm.
2. Turn the multifunction knob (1) to select either
Alarm 1
or
Alarm 2
. Press in
the multifunction knob to confirm.
3. Select
ON
for the time to come on (or
Off
for the time to go off). Press in
the multifunction knob to confirm. “Set alarm time” will appear on the display.
4. Turn the multifunction knob (1) to set the desired alarm time. Press in
the multifunction knob to confirm. Do the same procedure for the minutes.
5. “Mode:” will appear on the display.
6. Select the desired alarm mode:
DAB
,
FM
or
Buzzer
by turning the multifunction
knob (1).
7. Press in the multifunction knob to confirm your selection.
8. “Days:” (which days the alarm is to be activated) will appear on the display.
9. Select the desired repetition of the alarm by turning the multifunction knob (1):
once, daily, weekdays or weekends.
10. Press in the multifunction knob to confirm your selection.
11. “Alarm volume” will appear.
12. Select the desired alarm volume by turning the multifunction knob (1).
The volume is shown graphically in the display.
13. Press in the multifunction knob to confirm your selection.
14. “Alarm saved” will appear. The alarm settings are now saved. The
icon will
appear on the display in standby mode.
Note:
If DAB or FM have been chosen as alarm modes, the last station you listened to
will be played when the alarm is activated.
