Troubleshooting guide
The speaker
will not
switch on.
• Make sure the mains lead is undamaged and is securely
connected to both the wall outlet and speaker dock.
• Ensure that there is power at the wall socket.
The remote
control is not
working.
• The batteries could be flat, replace them.
• The remote control is out of range of the speaker (max 7 m).
• Make sure that there are no obstructions between the speaker
and the remote control e.g. furniture or other large objects.
No sound.
• Check the volume.
• Make sure that the correct audio source is selected.
• The 3.5 mm connection has priority. Unplug the cable if you want
to listen to audio from the RCA input.
• Check that none of the electrical cables are damaged and that
they are all properly connected.
• Make sure that the Bluetooth connection has been properly established.
• Test the playback from your external device before connecting it
to the speaker to ensure that it works.
• Check to see that you don’t have the MUTE on.
• Try playback using another file format e.g. MP3. The file you are
attempting to play may be incompatible or damaged.
• Pull the plug from the wall socket to disconnect the speaker
completely from the mains. Insert the plug back into the wall socket.
