Operation
Remote control
Note:
Be sure to aim the remote control directly at the speaker and ensure that there
are no objects in the way which could block the signal
.
Inserting batteries
Note:
Never mix old and new batteries. Never mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable
batteries.
1. Remove the battery cover from the back of the remote control by sliding it in
the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries.
Note:
Note the polarity markings in the battery holder to ensure correct battery insertion.
3. Slide the battery cover back into place.
Power on/off
1. Set the speaker to standby using the power switch (14) on the back panel.
2. Switch the speaker on by pressing [
] on the speaker or remote control.
3. Switch the speaker to standby mode by pressing [
] on the speaker or remote control.
4. Switch the speaker off using the power switch on the back panel of the speaker.
Note:
The speaker will turn off automatically after 15 minutes if:
• the speaker is in Audio mode and does not receive an input signal or the input
signal is too low.
• Bluetooth playback is paused or cancelled.
Playing music from a USB flash drive
1. Connect a flash drive to the USB port (12) of the speaker.
2. Switch the speaker on.
3. Press [ USB ] (18) on the remote control or press [
] (4) on the speaker until
the content on the USB flash drive starts playing.
4. Adjust the volume and control the playback as described in the
Buttons and
functions
section above.
5. If the speaker is switched on the content on the USB flash drive will automatically
start to play.
