Operation
Switching on the Bluetooth speaker
Insert the mains lead into the speaker and a wall socket. The LED indicator will show
a steady red to indicate Standby mode. Briefly press [
] on the speaker or remote
control to turn on.
Selecting function
Press [
] the required number of times to select from:
•
Line-in: The LED indicator will show a steady green.
•
Playback from previously connected Bluetooth device: The LED indicator will flash
slowly while searching for the device and show a steady blue once the device has
been connected.
Standby mode
There are two options for placing the device in Standby mode:
1. Press [
] on the remote control to place the speaker in Standby mode.
The LED indicator will show a steady red.
2. Hold down [
] on the speaker and release the button within 1–5 seconds to place
the speaker in Standby mode. The LED indicator will show a steady red.
Note:
•
In Standby mode the speaker will automatically switch off after one minute of
inactivity. The red LED indicator will go out.
•
In Bluetooth or Line-in mode the speaker will automatically switch off after 15 minutes
of inactivity.
•
Remember that even if the LED indicator has gone out the speaker is still connected
to the mains and certain components inside the casing are live. Disconnect the mains
lead from the wall socket if the speaker is not to be used for an extended period.
Connecting an external device via Bluetooth
1. Switch on the speaker.
2. Hold down [
] on the speaker for five seconds or [ PAIRING ] on the remote
control for two seconds until the LED indicator flashes rapidly blue.

The LED indicator flashes rapidly blue: The speaker is searching for
another device.

The LED indicator flashes slowly blue: Connection of a previously connected
device is in progress.

The LED indicator shows a steady blue: Device connected.
3. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired and place the device in search mode.
4. When the speaker appears as “B25BT” on your device, select this to connect your
device to the speaker. Refer to your device’s instruction manual if you are unsure.
Note:
If you are prompted to enter a PIN code on your device, you should enter
0000
(four noughts). Certain devices may also require you to approve the connection.
