Safety
• This speaker can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a
safe manner and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be carried out by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised by an adult. Keep the speaker and its charger lead out of reach of
children under the age of 8.
• The speaker may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,
provided they have been instructed in the safe use of the product and understand
the hazards involved. Never let children play with the speaker.
• The speaker should not be taken apart or modified. Never try to open the housing
of the speaker.
• Stand the speaker on a firm flat surface.
• Do not place the speaker in constant sunlight or near naked flames such as
wood-burning stoves or lit candles.
• Never subject the speaker to high temperatures, dusty environments, heavy
vibrations or impacts.
• Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to
permanent hearing loss.
• Never try to repair the product, it must only be repaired by qualified service
technicians.
Care and maintenance
• The speaker is resistant to water and moisture so you can leave it outdoors.
• Clean the speaker using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• If the speaker is not to be used for a long time, the battery should be fully charged
on a regular basis (every second month) to prolong its capacity.
