• When the car slows down or the control range decreases, insert
new batteries.
• Please do not allow the car to fall off a high ledge, as a fall
might damage it.
• Never disassemble your car or the transmitter.
• Do not store the car either near a source of heat or in direct
sunlight for extended periods.
• You may experience interference from CB radios which use
the same frequency. If this occurs, move to a new location or
wait until the interference is over. Also, two or more R/C cars
using the same frequency cannot operate in the same area
since their signal will interfere with each other.
• The transmitter range will depend on surroundings, buildings
and large metal objects. You will obtain the best results when
you operate the car in an open area.
• When not in use, set the car and transmitter Power Switches to
“
OFF
.” If you do not intend to use the car for a long time,
remove the batteries, as weak or dead batteries can leak
damaging chemicals.
OPERATION
Your radio-controlled Porsche 1:12 Scale caris a fully functional

best performance. For maximum range of control, always keep
both antennae straight up.
Set the car and transmitter Power Switches to “
ON
.” The con-

INSTALLATION
Find the battery compartment on the back of the unit. Use a small
Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw. (See diagram below,
left.) Remove the battery cover by sliding the latch in the direc-
tion of the arrow. (See diagram at left, below.) Install one 9V bat-
tery (not included) in the compartment, making sure to match
polarity (+ and -) with the diagram inside the battery compart-
ment. Replace the battery cover. Then replace the screw and
tighten gently. (See also Battery Information on pages 8 and 10.)
SAFETY GUIDES AND HINTS
• Never operate your car in the street, in water, sand or on thick
carpet. Rain can cause rust to be formed inside the unit.
• For maximum battery life, stop racing your car after
15 minutes of continuous use. We recommend a rest period
of approximately 30 minutes.
• If you have installed new batteries and the car still
moves slowly or not at all, check the wheels for lint, threads,
hair, dust or other foreign materials. Carefully remove any
of these materials from the wheels.
4
Note: Replace batteries when your car moves too slowly or stops moving.
