• Fit yellow protective cap onto G¼" connecting nipple.
• Insert cable plug of the electrode holder into either the "+" or "-" welding current connection socket and
lock by turning to the right.
• Insert cable plug of the workpiece lead into either the "+" or "-" welding current connection socket and
lock by turning to the right.
NOTE
Polarity depends on the instructions from the electrode manufacturer given on the
electrode packaging.

NOTE
It is only possible to change the basic welding parameters if:
• No welding current is flowing and
• The key switch (option) is set to position “1”.

Arcforce
Shortly before the electrode threatens to stick, the arcforcing device sets an increased current designed
to prevent the electrode sticking.

+40
= high current increase > aggressive arc
5.9.4
Antistick
Anti-stick prevents the electrode from annealing.
If the electrode sticks in spite of the Arcforce device, the machine
automatically switches over to the minimum current within about 1
second to prevent the electrode from overheating. Check the welding
current setting and correct according to the welding task!
