Silence Detection

identifies when the sound level is very low.

Enable

: This button activates silence detection.

Trigger Interval

: This setting specifies the number of consecutive frames for which the sound level

is too low and an alarm should be generated.

Alarm Status

: When the alarm status is On, any alarms that are generated will be displayed in both

the multiviewer window and the GUI.

The

Channel Selection

button opens a routing pane which enables you to assign the available audio

channels to the audio meters. Additional audio channels may be routed from an add-on card, such as an
ADC48 or DAC48 card.
