8. Care and Storage
Clean and Store your S-Fit Electric Scooter
If you find any stains on your electric scooter, wipe the impacted area with a
soft, damp cloth. To remove more difficult stains, you can use toothpaste and
a toothbrush. In the event your scooter sustains scratches or deeper marks,
try sandpaper or other grinding materials to help smooth or buff them out. Try
a small area first before attempting on a larger affected patch.
Warning: Do not use alcohol, petrol, kerosene or any other volatile chemical
solvents to clean the scooter. Do not wash the scooter using strong water
pressure. Whenever you are cleaning or repairing the scooter, be sure to
switch the power off. In addition, be careful to close the charging port each
time you complete charging the scooter. Otherwise, the scooter may sustain
long-term damage caused by water entering the charging port. This also
elevates your risk of electric shock or injury.
When you are not using the scooter, store it in a dry, cool place. Do not leave
the unit on the street for long-term storage. Leaving the device in the sun or in
