Connect to the Internet Using ADSL/Cable
Modem
To connect to the Internet via the Web user interface, do as follows:
1.
Open your Internet web browser.
2.
Enter
http://192.168.254.1
in the IE address bar and press the
Enter
key.
3.
Enter the username and the password in the login page. The default
username and password are
admin
and
admin
respectively.
4.
Click the
Setup
Wizard
tab, and then follow the step-by-step guide to set the
wireless router.
5.
Click
Next
to continue.
6.
Select the proper WAN interface type and then click
Next
to continue. The
default WAN interface type is
DHCP (Auto Config)
. The wireless router will
automatically acquire the IP address, subnet mask, gateway and so on.
7.
Configure the basic wireless parameters for the wireless router and then click
Next
to continue. You may set a SSID, select a proper wireless mode and
configure the wireless security settings.
8.
Click
Finish
to complete the wizard settings.
