opEratiNg
systEm
The operating system provides the basic
functionalities for managing resources,
communicating remotely and coordinating
a variety of activities.
The operating system is necessary in order
to install the application software and use
the equipment.
The operating system update com-
pletely deletes the CPU memory, includ-
ing application software, customization
settings and statistical data.
applicatioN
softwarE
The application software allows you using
the equipment features and to changing
the settings via the graphical user interface
(GUI).
The application software does not work
without the operating system.
Updating the application software
does not delete the operating system
and any settings/customization.

customizatioN
With the application software, it is possible
to set and customize recipes, calibrations
and graphic interface.
Settings/customization also include the ma-
chine configuration database (layout).
These settings can be saved to be import-
ed and used on other equipment.
Before using the settings/customiza
-
tion on other equipment, it is necessary
to check the software versions of appli
-
cation and operating system.
Verify that they are up to date or, at min-
imum, of the same version from which
they were exported.
Settings/customization are not compat
-
ible with previous software versions.
