Xylene
A colorless, flammable liquid with a chemical smell. Xylenes are produced by the
methylation of toluene and benzene.
The term is used for any of three isomers of dimethylbenzene, or a combination thereof.
Synonyms/Trade Names: xylol, dimethylbenzene.
