Attaching the wall plate to wooden studs
Step 1a
• The wall plate is designed to mount to two studs. Use a stud finder to locate the edges of your
studs, then draw a vertical line down the center of each stud.
• Use the wall plate as a template and mark the center of the four mounting holes (make sure they
are on the stud centerline).
Step 1b
• Drill four 1/8” diameter holes 1.2” deep and secure the wall plate to the wall using four lag bolts (C)
and four washer (G). Do not over-tighten.

Attaching the wall plate to a concrete wall
Step 2a
• Use the wall plate as a template and use the pencil to mark where to drill. Then drill six holes 3/8”
diameter and 2” depth into the wall.
• Gently hammer six concrete anchors into the holes.
