Quick Reference
Blacking Out Live Video
1. To black out the live images from the cameras. Login as an Administrator and set
the cameras in
Playback
mode within the
Sequence Mode
display or
Static Page
Mode
display. There are 7
Static Display
pages and at most 8 display sequences.
The Operator/Guest will not be able to view the live images from those cameras.
Recording
1. To
setup
Time Lapse Recording
, just setup the
Normal Recording
rates for the
Cameras at different
Time Types
.
2. To
setup
Event Recording
, setup the
Alarm Recording
rates for the Cameras at
different
Time Types
along with the different
Actions.
Also enable or disable
items for the Cameras as well as the
Alarm Inputs
.
Playback & Retrieval
1. Console
directions:
a. Login to the software as a
SUPERVISOR
or
ADMIN
level user by
CLICKING
on the
LOGIN
icon on the tool bar.
b.
CLICK
on the
PLAYBACK CONTROL
icon on the tool bar (you will
notice the tool bar will change to playback icons)
c. Now
CLICK
on the
SELECT HDD
icon (this is your search window)
d. This window will allow you to perform a search on the following:
1.
TIME & DATE
– enter
START
time & date and
END
time &
date (this is the range in time you want the DVR to retrieve from
the HHD), then press the
SUBMIT
icon and then OK button.
2.
EVENT
– select an
EVENT
from the listing and
CLICK OK
.
3.
LOCATION
– select
HHD
number and then set
BLOCK,
SECTION
and
SLICE
for
START & END
and then
CLICK OK
.
(
NOTE
: if you receive an error message stating
“NO ANY DRIVES”
this means the
HDD
is not recognized. Make sure the
HDD
are in the
LOCK
position and reboot the DVR)
e. After
CLICKING OK
on the select
HDD
page, click on the Camera that
you want to put in
PLAYBACK MODE
. A gray window will appear in
the middle of the screen place

next to
PLAYBACK
and
CLICK
OK
.
