Night mode (black and white images) based on the AGC value of the current video image. You
can further configure the
Sensitivity
level; the higher the level, the better the sensitivity.
Schedule
: Select to let the camera to switch to Day mode (color images) or Night mode (black
and white images) based on the day and night schedule you entered in the fields below.
Auto (Light sensor):
Select to let the camera automatically switch to Day mode (color images)
or Night mode (black and white images) based on the light sensor’s detection on the light
level. You can further configure the night to day switching time and day to night switching
time.
N to D switching time:
Enter the transition duration a switching from Night mode to Day
mode will take, from 0 to 60 second(s).
D to N switching time:
Enter the transition duration a switching from Day mode to Night
mode will take, from 0 to 60 second(s).
IR Mode:
Select an IR mode from Auto, ON or OFF. For

IR, you can further specify to turn
on near or far IR LEDs use the buttons on the Quick Setup Panel (see
6.2 Camera
for more details).
For
Auto
IR, you can further specify a mode to automatically switching day-night in the
Day-Night
Mode
field.
Advanced
Shutter:
Select the desired shutter speed from 1/25 ~ 1/8,000 seconds. The option N represents
1/N second, for example, 25 represents 1/25 second.
Defog:
The Defog function makes the subject appear clearer when the surrounding area of the
subject is foggy and low contrast. Select ON / OFF to enable / disable the Defog function.
