Value IP 288 / 368 / 468 Series

7.1.1.2.

Multicast Settings

Enable if required, fill in the setting options for main stream / sub stream video and audio. For
more details, please refer to Appendix B. Enabling the Multicast Function.

Enable Multicast:

Check the box to enable the Multicast function.

IP Address:

Fill in the multicast IP address. IP addresses in the range of 224.0.0.0 through

239.255.255.255 are reserved for multicasting. For devices, you can use 225.x.x.x - 232.x.x.x and
234.x.x.x - 238.x.x.x. Click

Port:

Change the port number if necessary.

TTL:

Input a Time-To-Live (TTL) value. The TTL value specifies the number of routers (hops) that

multicast traffic is permitted to pass through before expiring on the network.

After complete the settings, click

Save

to apply the changes.
