INSTALLATION
ELECTRICAL
CAUTION: In order to avoid
a hazard due to inadvertent
resetting of the thermal cutout,
this appliance must not be
supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is
regularly switched on and off by
the utility.
All electrical work must comply
with national and applicable
national and local electrical
regulations.
Before fitting the appliance,
ensure that the consumer unit
and any switches are suitable for
the additional load. If in doubt,
contact your electricity supplier
or a qualified electrician.
In each case a double pole
isolating switch with a contact
separation of at least 3mm in
each pole, and a minimum rating
of 13Amp must be incorporated
in the wiring of the appliance.
It is recommended that a
residual current device (RCD)
is used to provide additional
protection against electric
shock. This may be part
of the consumer unit or a
separate unit. The handwash
must be connected to its own
independent electrical circuit.
Feed the wires through side
entry point or break plastic for
wall entry and tighten down on
wire the cable grip as shown in
Figure 2. The “live” wires must
be connected to the slots on the
terminal block marked L. The
ground wire must be connected
to the slot marked with the
ground symbol.
A minimum heat resistance
cable size of 1.5mm
2
shall be
used.
Reinstall plastic cover.
