Chapter 5 Operation Procedures
5.1 Preparations
(1) Connect the power cord and ensure the instrument is well grounded.
(2) The rated voltage of the instrument is 220V
±
22V, and ensure the power supply
for the instrument is in the range.
5.2 Turn the power on
The instrument enters the initial state at first. Please connect the load (the red
terminal is the
“
+
”
of power output and the black terminal is the
“
-
”
of power
output). The connecting wires for power output should have good insulation
performance and have lower current density (
≤
4A/ mm
2
). Preheat for 30
minutes. .
5.3 Adjustment
(1). The default load protection voltage of WY305&WY3010 is 30V and that of
WY605 and WY5015 is 60V and 50V respectively. If needs to change, firstly set
the protection voltage according to the load characteristics. If the load is damaged
when the voltage exceeds 10V, press
“
DISPLAY OVP
”
key to make the indicator
light on, and adjust the voltage knob to set the protection voltage be 10V, and
then press
“
DISPLAY OVP
”
key again to make the indicator light off.
(2). The instrument is used as constant voltage power supply (Open-circuit):
In "DISPLAY SETTING" lighting state, set the voltage and current value firstly,
and press the OUTPUT key, and then the indicator of OUTPUT lights, windows
of VOLTAGE and CURRENT display the measured value. Adjust the knob for
voltage to the required value. The constant voltage value is displayed in the
Voltage window and the output current value (I0=U0/RL) is displayed in the
current window. When the indicator CV extinguishes and the indicator CC lights
up, the instrument enters into the current limiting state. As increasing the limited
