1. Place the child  

restraint in position.

 

Adjust the child restraint  
to the most reclined  
position (

Recline Position 

#1, p. 62

), then place it on 

vehicle seat in the rear- 
facing position, as shown.

2. Attach SureLatch Connectors.

  Push a SureLatch connector onto each seat anchor. 

Note: You may need to vary the angle of the SureLatch 
connectors, as shown above, to attach to the anchor. 
Also, make sure LATCH harness is in the rear-facing  
belt path (p. 20).

facing upward and the straps 

are not twisted.
