Chapter 4 Wearing and working with the ZRS-1D
Wearing the ZRS-1D on the right or left index finger
Thanks to the integrated swivel system, the Zypad Ring Scanner allows the user to rotate the
scanning head. In this way the Ring Scanner can be worn on the right or left index finger.
The Ring Scanner’s default configuration is for users who wear the Ring Scanner on the left index
finger, as in the following figure:
Execute the following steps with care. Applying excessive force will
permanently damage the swivel mechanism, voiding the warranty.
Do not to use the finger strap to pull the two halves apart.
WEARING THE RING SCANNER ON THE RIGHT INDEX FINGER
If the user needs to wear the scanner on the right index finger, the scanner head can be rotated as
follows.
1) Hold the scanner base with the left hand; hold the scanner head with the right hand
2) Gently lift the scanner head: see arrow A .
Gently rotate clockwise the scanner head: see arrow B
