Configure the CPU-1474/84: the Setup Utility

The CPU-1474/84 features a Phoenix BIOS Setup utility that allows you to modify the BIOS settings.

WARNING!
The BIOS Setup data may be lost if power is removed for any reason during the POST (Power On

Self Test) procedure.

NOTE:

If the BIOS has been set to LCD only, and no display is visible - maybe due to a configuration error - users
can press the 'F3' key during the power-on sequence to force the CRT+LCD configuration.

The Setup program uses a number of menus for making changes and enabling various features.

NOTE:

The menus shown here are from a typical system. The actual menus displayed may differ depending on the
hardware and features installed.

The Main menu

To start the Phoenix BIOS Setup utility:

1. Turn on or reboot your system. The Phoenix BIOS will display the following message:

Press <F2> to enter SETUP

2. Press <F2> to display the Main menu, as shown below:
