FILLING DURING USE & CLEANING
Filling the Boiler Tank During Use
If the boiler tank should become empty during use (the red indicator light (E) will
switch on), switch off the unit and unplug from the wall outlet and proceed as fol-
lows:
* Press the steam dispensing button (J) to discharge any residual steam;
* Slowly unscrew the boiler tank filler cap (B) waiting a few seconds for the steam
to finish before unscrewing the cap completely. Wait a few minutes before adding
water to the boiler tank;
* Add more water; using the measure cup, making sure to pour it in slowly to pre-
vent new bursts of steam from forming.
* It is recommended waiting at least 3 minutes from the time of unplugging the
unit before adding more water to the boiler tank;
* Firmly screw the boiler tank filler cap (B) back into place;
* Plug the unit into the wall outlet;
* Press the on switch (D) and wait for the green indicator light (F) to indicate that
the unit is ready to use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
* It is important to clean the boiler tank at least once a month to remove any scale
residues which could affect the normal operation of the Eurosteam® Extreme.
* Switch off the unit and unplug from the wall outlet.
* Leave unit to cool before cleaning out the boiler tank to prevent the risk of scalds
or burns.
* Drain out any pressure remaining in the boiler tank using the steam button (I) on
the gun (H), being sure to point the jet into a suitable container.
* Slowly unscrew the boiler tank filler cap (B) and remove it completely.
* Fill the boiler tank with tap water, shake vigorously and then turn upside down to
empty.
* Repeat this process a few times.
* Never add scale removers, vinegar or other perfumed substances to the tank as
these risk damaging the unit and will immediately null and void the warranty.
