It is a matter of experience to determine when the product needs to be
cleaned, since the nature and the degree of pollution depend strongly on
the particular situation, humidity, intensity of use, etc. Nevertheless,
the filters should be cleaned, on average, two times a year.
WARNING
Polluted filters often contain dust and dirt particles that could
be a health hazard when inhaled. When replacing the filter,
always wear a reliable and approved facemask.
8.2.1 Removing the filters
•
Switch off the unit by turning the main switch.
•
Loosen the two bolts of the filterbar cover. Use a 5 mm hex key.
•
Remove the cover at the frontside filtercompartment.
•
Remove the filter (see 8.2.2 until 8.2.6)

Remove the ash Container
•
Take off the cover with ash container.
•
Remove the ash container by pulling the container upwards.
8.2.3
Remove the Pre-filter and electrostatic filter(s)
•
The pre-filters will be packed together with the electrostatic filters in a
transport box.
•
Carefully remove the two metal frames by pulling them towards you.
•
Remove the pre-filters by tearing them out of the metal frame.
•
Place the new/clean pre-filter into the metal frame. Use a screwdriver
to guide it into the metal frame.
•
Take out the electrostatic filters by pulling them towards you.
•
Take the clean electrostatic filters out of the transport box, and place
the dirty electrostatic filters with the pre-filters in the transport box.
8.2.4
Remove the Media filter(s)
•
The HEPA filter removes small and ultra-small sized particles that could
not be captured by the electrostatic filters.
•
Slide the HEPA filter out of the filter unit.
8.2.5
Remove carbon filter(s)
•
The carbon filters are located at the bottom of the filter compartment.
•
One carbon filter et is a combination of three types of cassettes:
- ACF 1
- ACF 2
- Gas oxidation filter

Replace ashtray tube
•
The exhaust hose prevents loss of smoke and odours escaping from the
ashtray.
•
The exhaust hose is located beneath the table top.
•
Remove the ashtray tube using a screwdriver.
•
Remove one end of the tube from the ashtray.
•
Remove the other end from the filter compartment.
•
Take a new clean tube and fit it into the hole in the ashtray and filter
compartment.
8.2.7 Mounting the filters
•
Mount the filters, removed earlier, in reverse order.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the machine does not function (correctly), consult the checklist below to
see if you may remedy the error yourself (*). Should this not be possible
consult a qualified service engineer.
WARNING
First check whether the error is of a mechanical or electrical
nature. The electric system can only be serviced or repaired by
qualified and authorised service engineers.
Always switch OFF the machine and disconnect the mains before carrying
out any repairs. First read the repair instructions at the beginning of this
manual.
A number of problems in the checklist below can also be
caused by defects in the connected equipment. This manual
only deals with problems and solutions directly related
to the machine itself.

Clean the outside of the cabin with a mild detergent.

Clean the inside of the cabin; glass panels and outside filter bar
