Usage when there is rain
•
If the tilt of the awning is less than 25% = 14°,
measured horizontally, then the awning should
not be extended in the rain. There is hazard of
water accumulating in the cloth of the awning,
through which the awning can be damaged or fall
down.
Usage when there is snow or ice
•
The awning should not be extended when there
is snowfall or freezing hazard. There is the haz-

in the awning box and the foreign bodies lying on
the guide rails should be removed immediately.
There is the hazard of awning getting damaged
or falling down.
Obstacles/risk of crushing
•
There should not be any obstructions in the
extension area of the awning. There is the hazard
of people being crushed.
•
There are crushing and cutting area between the
movable parts of the awning. Clothing or body
parts can be seized by these moving parts.
•
Any additional loads of the awning through
attached objects or through rope tensioning may
lead to damages and falling of the awning and
therefore are not permitted.
Cleaning and maintenance work in the
extension area of the awning
•
It should be ensured that the awning is not
extended when cleaning and maintenance work
(e.g. building cleaners) is being carried out.
Maintenance

material or frame.

Determine the height at which the awning is to be fas-
tened to the wall. If the awning is to be installed above
a door, the clearance above the door must be at least
20 cm. Please also observe the inclination angle of
the awning. The minimum inclination angle of the
cloth to the water drainage in case of rain must be
14°. After installation, the angle can be easily
changed as required. The front drop rod (front profile)
should have a clearance height of at least 2.5 m when
extended.
Note:
should any part be missing or dam-

DANGER! Risk of injury!
Never position
the selected fastening material in mortar
joints. Please observe specified edge dis-
tances. Make sure that there is enough
load-bearing capacity (masonry/wall mate-
rial) above the fastening holes to ensure
that there is no risk of any damage to the
masonry or wall material caused by the
forces acting on an extended awning.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
In case of low
installation, please ensure that there are no
objects within the swivel range.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
Strong forces
act on an awning when it is windy. An incor-

cause serious injuries.
WARNING! Danger of falling!
Ensure a
stable stance during the installation.
