Pressing the following buttons produces the following effect:
Switch 1+2:
switch on the power supply to the heater and the flame effect
(without heating)
Switches 1+2+3:
switch on 1000 Watt heating, with flame effect
Switches 1+2+3+4:
switch on 2000 Watt heating, with flame effect
Other combinations of buttons do not work.
Switch off the heater by resetting all switches to the OFF position. Remove the plug
from the power outlet; do this whenever the heater is not in use!
Remote control
The remote control works to a maximum distance of 5 metres from the device.
Attention: it takes some time before the receiver on the remote control responds. Do
not press a button more often than 1 x per 2 seconds.
The battery compartment is on the back of the remote control. Slide it open, install the
2 x AAA batteries and then slide the cover back into position.
When you have used buttons 1 to 4 to switch the device to the desired mode you can
switch it on and off again with the remote control.

If you wish to switch the hearth off for an extended period of time or leave the room,
you must switch the device off completely with the switches and pull the plug out
of the socket.
Note:
If you use the fire in a room with very little background noise, you may some noise
caused by the flame effect. This is normal and no reason for concern.
Warning:
This heater is not equipped with a
device to control the room temperature. Do not use
this heater in small rooms when they are occupied
by persons not capable of leaving the room on
their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
Be carefull!
Some parts of this product can
become very hot and cause burns. Particular
attention has to be given where children and
vulnerable people are present. do not let bare skin
come into contact with hot surfaces.
REPLACING A BULB
Warnings:
Always unplug the fireplace before replacing a
bulb!
The bulbs get hot during use; allow plenty of
time for them to cool down before touching
them!
The two lamps are located behind the small
panel at the rear of the fire. To get to the
lamps you must unscrew two screws that
keep the panel in place. Slide the panel
downwards and remove it (see figure).
