Now choose one of the following installation methods:
A
– In a hanging window B – in a sliding window
4. Cut the adhesive window seal to size and fasten it to the frames.
5. Now place the window bar in the opening.
6. Cut the non-adhesive window seal to size for the width (A) or height (B) of the window and
place the strip between the window and the frame (see illustration) to prevent draughts and
insects from entering.
7. If desired, you can install the safety support (see illustration).
8. Insert the window bar connector into the hole of the window bar.
C
– Through a wall
- Drill a hole of 125mm in the wall for the
wall lead-through connector. The
middle of the hole must be a minimum
of 30 cm and a maximum of 120 cm
above the ground.
- Attach the wall lead-through (B)
connector firmly to the wall with the 4
plugs and screws supplied (see
illustration).
- Now connect the drainage hose with
wall lead-through connector (A) to wall
lead-through connector (B).
Cover the hole with the flap of the wall
lead-through when the device is not in
use.
To ensure effective operation, do not stretch, twist or bend the hose.
There must be a gap of at least 50 cm around the outlet of the hose in order to allow the air
exhaust system to function correctly.
