Preface

This Installation Guide describes the installation and

operation of the SANbloc Series. The following products are

covered: SANbloc FC2100 Series (JBOD) and SANbloc

FC2500 Series (RAID).

Audience

This Installation Guide is intended for use by the person

installing and operating the SANbloc Series. This Instal-

lation Guide describes the operation of the SANbloc Series

only. For details relating to the host system, refer to the

documentation supplied with the host system.

Conventions Used In This User Guide

The following conventions are used throughout this Instal-

lation Guide.

Note: A NOTE gives general information, such as helpful tips
and references to related information.

CAUTION: A CAUTION means take care. There is a risk of caus-
ing damage to the equipment or losing data.
