OPERATION
DANGER OF FIRE!
When installing the device, make sure there is no highly-inflammable
material (decoration articles, etc.) within a distance of min. 0.5 m.
Installation and Operation
Install the light chain at the desired installation-spot.
Install the solar panel via the ground spike at a sunny spot in the earth. The solar panel is adjustable for
more comfortable operation and a better alignment with the sun. Align the solar module in southerly direction
and also take shady objects into account.
During the day, the built-in battery pack charges via sunlight on the solar panel. Via the integrated day/night
sensor, the light chain begins to shine at twilight (provided the light chain is turned on).
With the push buttons on the rear of the solar module you can turn the light chain on and off, as well as set it
to blinking or continuous light.
With a full battery pack, the maximum illumination duration amounts to 10 hours. The illumination time is
strongly dependent on the hours of sunshine, so it is to be expected that in the darker time of year the
illumination time will be shorter.
Please note
: the battery can only charge when the light chain is turned on.
