SETUP
Attachment
You can place the device on a plane surface or simply attach it to metallic surfaces with the magnets at the
bottom side. You may also fasten the device to a wall or ceiling via the openings at the bottom side using
e.g. hooks and plugs. Always choose screws and plugs which are suitable for use in your wall/ceiling and
have enough holding power. Fasten the device in such way that it will not fall down.
Operation
Setting up your new effect light only takes a minute. Simply switch it on with the power switch at the base.
The inner wheel of the disco ball will start turning the LEDs light up. For mains operation, connect the mains
cable to the micro USB input and the charger to a mains socket. Alternatively, the device features a
rechargeable battery for cable-free operation. Prior to initial use, completely charge the battery.
Battery operation
Connect the charger to the power input at the device and the mains plug to a mains outlet. The battery can
be charged before, during or after operation. To charge the battery with the LEDs off, leave the power switch
in the off position.
The device features a protective circuit for charging which prevents overload of the rechargeable battery.
However, disconnect the device from the mains after charging. Otherwise there will be a low current
consumption even if the device is switched off.
To prevent damage to the battery by deep discharge, recharge a battery completely discharged as soon as
possible. Do not store the unit with the battery completely discharged and regularly recharge the battery in
case of long storage.
Playing music with the MP3 player
The disco ball features an audio player for MP3 files from USB storage devices and wireless music
streaming from your Bluetooth devices such as smartphones, tablets and notebooks.
USB device –
Insert a USB device into the USB port. After loading a data carrier, it is selected as the
playback medium and the playback will start automatically. Use the remote control to operate the audio
player conveniently from a distance.
Bluetooth device –
After switching on, the audio player will enter the pairing mode. A message will be
played via the speakers and the Bluetooth indicator flashes. Now activate the Bluetooth function at the
Bluetooth source and start the device scan. Select “

“ from the list and connect the devices. Once
the devices are paired, another message will be played and the Bluetooth indicator stops flashing. Then play
music at the Bluetooth source as you normally would and the sound will come out of the speakers. You can
operate the Bluetooth source with the remote control, too.
