• The IR Med is not intended as a substitute for consultation with
your doctor
• Keep out of reach of children under 12 years of age
• Do not allow children to take their own temperature unaided
• The IR Med is not waterproof. Do not submerge in water or other
liquids
• Do not use the IR Med if there are signs of damage to the sensor
• The IR Med is not intended for clinical use
• Forehead temperature is displayed in oral mode. This mode
converts forehead surface temperature to its ‘oral equivalent’
value
• Holding the IR Med for too long may cause a higher ambient
temperature. This could make the forehead temperature value
lower than usual
• Intended use for the IR Med: the measurement of infrared heat
generated by the temple area of the forehead
• Skin temperature measurement range 25°C-40°C - indicated
oral equivalent values 35°C-42.5°C
• Ac/- 0.3°C in the displayed range
