Changing Gas Operating Type
The appliance will be set to operate with the gas type indicated on the packaging and on the appliance.
If the gas operating type requires changing the following procedure must be followed.
a)
The main burner nozzle must be changed to the required
nozzle for the gas type to be used. (See appliance data,
pages 4 &5).
b)
The pilot nozzle must be changed to the required nozzle for
the gas type to be used.
c)
The air collar setting should be adjusted for the gas type to
be used (See below).
d)
The high fire operating pressure must be adjusted. Using
a manometer to read the operating pressure adjust the
operating pressure adjustment screw for the gas type to
be used. (See pages 4 & 5 for gas valve technical data for
required pressure).
e)
The low fire operating pressure will require adjustment. Light the stove and turn the control
knob to a position which gives a low fire operation of the flame i.e the stove operates in
three modes.
1. Pilot position,
2. Low fire,
3. High fire (full output).
Check the low burn operating pressure by connecting a manometer to the operating test
nipple. Observe the pressure, adjust as required by using the low fire adjustment screw.
(See gas valve technical pages 4 & 5).
f)
Fit the label denoting gas type to the data plate. (If converting from LPG to Natural gas
