Preparing the ironing workstation
The ironing board can be stored away with its legs folded under
the ironing top or with its legs upright, with the boiler placed
below.
The ironing board can be opened from the upright position too:
Hold the ironing top with one hand and open its legs until you
hear a click indicating that the lever is in the blocking position.
From this position, the ironing board can be easily placed in the
upright position. If the floor is slippery be careful that the legs
do not slide, when opening or closing the ironing board.
Acting on the lever
A
raise the ironing top to the desired height.
Place the iron on the flat mat
B
of the boiler, near the safety
cap.
Place the hot iron on this surface only as it is a thermo-resistant
rest pad.
Placing the hot iron on other surfaces may damage them.
Insert the plug of the iron or the steam jack-plug into the socket
located in the lower part of the boiler
C
. Make sure that on
inserting the plug, the safety flap of the socket snaps. This
prevents the plug from being unintentionally pulled out of the
socket. Plug the power cord into the socket only after filling the
boiler with water.
Before folding the ironing board away, unplug the ironing system by pulling the plug out of the
socket.
Watch out for the hot parts!
Use the Sicuro soleplate shell for the hot iron.
Wind the power cord around the cord-winder
D
. Turn the ironing board sideways with the
boiler placed below. Push the height-regulating lever
A
and fold the legs. Push the legs tightly
against the ironing board until they are inserted in the leg-blocking mechanism.
