Using The Computer

2 - 18 The PC Card Slot

The PC Card Slot

The computer is equipped with a PCMCIA 3.3V/5V slot for 

two

type II

 PC cards, or 

one

 

type III

 PC card. Type III PC cards only fit

into the lower socket.

Inserting and Removing PC Cards 

•

Align the PC Card with the slot and push the PC Card in until it locks 
into place.

•

To remove a PC Card, simply press the eject button "

" next to the slot.
